On the Berijam Lake Road near Pillar Rocks, Silent Valley View looks out over folds of the Palani Hills and the Western Ghats, with a deep valley stretching below. A short walk from the road leads to the hilltop viewing spot, where eucalyptus-scented air and frequent mist add to the setting — it's considered one of the better sunrise and sunset spots around Kodaikanal.
